Practice Team
Our Practice team consists of a Practice
Manager, an Assistant Practice Manager, Secretarial and Admin Staff, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants. Attached to the Practice and Health Visitors, District Nurses and a Midwife.
Practice Manager
Our Practice Manager, is responsible for the running of the Practice and is able
to help you with any questions you may have concerning non-medical aspects of
the Practice.
Secretaries
Our Secretaries are responsible for processing all correspondence. Please contact the
Secretaries if you have any queries regarding hospital referral letters. Personal Information will not be given out to anyone other than the patient concerned unless the patient provides us with written content.
Receptionists
Our Receptionists are here to help you and, also, to help the Practice run smoothly.
Sometimes, they may need to ask you personal questions. If you wish to speak to
a Receptionist, privately, away from the Reception area, please ask to do so.
All information is treated in the strictest confidence. Please remember, the Receptionists
are only acting on the Doctor's instructions.
Practice Nurses
Our Practice Nurses work on a pre-bookable appointments system. They provide a
comprehensive nursing service for all categories of patients, ie those with coronary
heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, as well as smoking cessation advice,
new patient health reviews, cervical smears, well man/well woman screening, suture
removal/dressings, ear syringing, childhood vaccinations, travel vaccinations/travel
advice and general advice.
If you have an appointment with the nurse and cannot attend, please remember to inform the
Surgery. Failure to do so may result in removal from the practice list.
If you wish to speak to a Practice Nurse, please telephone between 3.00 - 4.00pm,
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
